I’m going to start over again with this blog. I’ve been feeling the need to write and I don’t want to overload family and friends with my inside thoughts and feelings.
I have bipolar, CPTSD, ADHD, and have been unofficially diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum. It was a late diagnosis (I was 47 at the time) and it was such a relief to hear the words from someone who was certified to make the diagnosis.
The art that I do encompasses many, many things and it helps to keep me alive. I can’t say I specifically do one thing because there are just so many paths to go down, that need to be discovered and examined. I started drawing when I was a child, drawing on pretty much everything I could draw on. As I grew older, I found that I loved working with clay but I didn’t have the attention span to really dive into it at that point. I also got into paper-tolling, watercolor, stippling, acrylic paints (Mom had me paint flowers and vines all over the walls one time), polymer clay, resin work, computer graphics, 3D modeling, embroidery, and best of all - beading. At this time I can’t think of what else I’ve worked at but I’ll add them when I remember.
